Elaine Robinson
Elaine Robinson is a native Daytonian who has been providing social services to the Dayton-Montgomery county area for more than 30 years. She is thoroughly familiar with available social service resources within the community. Elaine began her years of service with the Ohio Department of Job and Family services. There she provided service in various capacities. First as a caseworker providing community residents with the resources necessary to meet their basic needs of food, housing, clothing and medical care. She then worked as the department's training supervisor where she created effective classroom, on the job and computer training regiments for existing as well as newly hired staff. Finally she ended her career with the department, assisting county residents with job placement and resume preparation. Each position was both challenging and rewarding. She currently serves as a case manager for Parents Advancing Choice in Education. She is available to our PACE families to address various needs that may arise that could have a direct or indirect affect on their student's educational process. She has been with the organization for 2 1/2 years.
Elaine is a firm believer in the benefits of education. She received her formal education from the University of Dayton. There she earned both a Master's Degree in Counseling and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. She enjoys working at PACE because she believes that every child should have the opportunity to realize the potential within them.
Family is also paramount to Elaine. She is married to Edward L. Robinson, Sr. They have two sons, Edward, Jr. (Wife, Demica), and Destin, and a daughter, Kandyce. They also have a grandson, Jordan I. Smith. She is a proud member of Ethan Temple Seventh Day Adventist Church.
