	George Loney George E. Loney is a native of Dayton. He grew up in the Five Oaks area of Dayton. He is a graduate of Chaminade-Julienne High School, and the University of Dayton. He earned a Bachelor Degree in Business with a major in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Currently he is the Executive Director of Parents Advancing Choice in Education (PACE). He began his career in public accounting and eventually left to enter private industry. He has worked in the retail industry as a corporate financial officer. He has served as a senior executive in the wholesale distribution industry. Throughout his career his experience has been not only in finance but in the areas of Human Resources, Information Systems, Distribution and Marketing. He returned to the Dayton area in 2002 working with the Catholic Urban Presence program. He served on the task force that dealt with the future of the Catholic schools in the urban area. His goal is to see that families have the opportunities to make choices when it comes to their children’s education so that the children can successfully complete a post-secondary education. He is married to Harriet and they have three children. Their daughter is a Catholic School teacher here in the Dayton area, their one son is the VP for Advancement for a Catholic High School in Toledo and their other son is a CFO living in New Jersey. They have 6 grandchildren.
